Are you in the midst of switching careers? Are you fresh out of university and looking to get your feet wet? Maybe you’re exploring options, and qualify for many positions, none of which are related to one another.
Regardless of where you are in your job search, or why you’re even looking- one thing to keep in mind as you apply to different jobs online is that it isn’t advisable to send the exact same resume to each company you’re applying to. Each resume that is being sent out needs to be tailored to each job/company you’re applying to.
By now, you may be aware that many employers pass resumes through an Applicant Tracking System that quickly scans the doc, and sends the cream of the crop over to the hands of the hiring managers. No- that doesn’t mean you should full your resume with buzzwords and keep your fingers crossed.
